Chester have back problems for replay; FA CUP QUALIFIER.

CHESTER FC boss Neil Young has major defensive injury concerns for tonight's FA Cup third qualifying round replay at FC Halifax Town (7.45pm).

Full-backs Wes Baynes and Matty McGinn both came off in Saturday''s tie between the teams while Paul Linwood missed the match with an Achilles problem.

Linwood's regular centre-back partner, captain George Horan, was sent off in the 1-1 draw but he will be able to play this evening as his suspension does not kick in until later this month.

Young said: "I hope to have Paul Linwood back but Matty McGinn has got a dead leg and they usually get worse before they get better and Wes Baynes has hurt his groin. So we'll be going there patched-up but if we can give the same effort as we did on Saturday, we'll have a chance."

Young also has doubts over the fitness of midfielder Ashley Williams.

Saturday's Exacta Stadium clash was marred by crowd trouble but Young does not believe it should detract from what the commitment' of his side.

The winners of tonight's replay travel to Lincoln City in the fourth qualifying round on October 20.
