Cheryl's dressing down gown; LOWRI TURNER Talking Welsh sense in a mad, mad world.

THE snap of Cheryl Cole in her M&S pink dressing gown backstage at The X Factor has put the fear of God into other women.

If even Ms Cole looks dumpy in a dressing gown, then what the heck do the rest of us look like? Those health farms that offer dressing gowns to their guests had better reconsider. One look at themselves in a dressing gown in a mirror at the end of a week of hot water and lemon juice will confirm they actually look fatter.

The pink hue of Cheryl's dressing gown was especially horrible, but she must have chosen it to match her peculiar new hairdo. This is presumably part of her mega-deal with L'Oreal. Even so, it looks terrible. Again, if it looks that horrible on Cheryl, how bad would the rest of us look?
