Cherokee Gains Trademark.

Two United States Registered Trademarks have been issued to Ben Ridge of Cherokee Accessories for AR-15 cheekpieces.

"We are the company that originally produced the Delta Cheekpiece for Colt firearms back in the '80s when they sold the AR-15 Delta," Ridge said. "Based on copyrights dating back to 1981 and production of the design continuously since, we have finally been granted these registered trademarks."

The company's new cheekpiece, the Delta Pro Cheekpiece, according to Ridge, "snaps on and off the rigid stock AR-15 instantly, is virtually indestructible, has a waterproof storage compartment and weighs just over 6 ounces."
