Chemical probe's exclusion zone lifted.

A 100 metre exclusion zone surrounding a farm cottage at Terregles has been removed.

Police have now left the area near Clunie Farm cottage following a chemical alert when a man was found dead last Friday.

Emergency services, including a number of police vehicles and two fire engines, raced to the scene after reports that 68-year-old Gavin Kennedy was unconscious. Police and firefighters, who donned special protection suits, found the man dead and a chemical spillage on the floor of the property. Mr Kennedy's death is not being treated as suspicious and a report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
