The Cheltenham and Three Counties Raceclub Festival Preview Night, sponsored by the Racing Post and Paddy Power, is at the Prestbury Suite, Cheltenham racecourse on Wednesday. Panelists: Graham Dench, Richard Johnson, Philip Hobbs, Conor O'Dwyer and Colm Murray. Doors open at 6.30pm and tickets cost pounds 8.

nThe West Midlands Racing Club: Wednesday at The Barn Social Club, Witton, Birmingham. Featured guests include Dean Gallagher, John Sexton, Gary Wiltshire, Bob Downing and Paul Jones. Doors open 7.15 for 7.45. Admission is pounds 5.

nThe West Berkshire Racing Club holds its Cheltenham preview evening on Friday at Newbury racecourse, starting at 8pm. Panellists are Geoff Lester, Alan King, Tom George, Seamus Mullins, Chris Broad and Paul Hourigan. Non-members pounds 4.

n East Garston Village Hall on Friday starting at 7.30pm. Guests include Charlie Brooks, Andrew Thornton, Pat Murphy, Ed James, Stan Moore, Noel Chance, Phil Smith and Miriam Francome. Tickets pounds 5, proceeds to the Injured Jockeys Fund.

nThe Temple Guiting Festival Preview is at the Village Hall on Saturday. Robert Cooper, Warren Marston, Robert Biddlecombe, Gordon Clarkson, Simon Claisse and Robert Llewelyn (Kryton) from Red Dwarf are on the panel.Tickets pounds 6 and there will be a bar and food.
