Chelmsford 3 Colchester 1 CHELMSFORD [...].

Chelmsford 3 Colchester 1 CHELMSFORD CITY manager Glenn Pennyfather admitted he was still in shock after watching Donovan Simmonds inspire his side to a stunning win over Colchester.

Simmonds gave the Blue Square South side a two-goal lead - though Michael Rose pulled one back, Jamie Slabber sealed the scalp late on.

Pennyfather said: "It's absolutely unbelievable. I'm a little bit in shock and I'm trying to take it all in.

Colchester manager Joe Dunne said: "We're disappointed to lose the match. That's an understatement. I don't want to take anything from Chelmsford - they've earned the right to be in the next round and we haven't."
