Chasing their tails...

Byline: STEPHEN MAGUIRE

THE little fella has started what will probably be the first of around two million summer camps he will attend over the next few years.

Off he went in his Liverpool strip and the silver Puma boots his mother bought him (Yes, I told her she was setting a very high standard in silver boots).

He came home after his first day and I was dying to know how he'd got on.

I quizzed him about the number of goals he'd scored, the number of crunching tackles he'd made and if his coach thought he'd be going to Anfield for trials soon.

"I'd a great time. But the best part was when the little dog came on the pitch and we all chased him!"

No wonder the Irish soccer team didn't qualify for the European Championships.
