Charles Industries Names Phillips Communications & Equipment Company as New Distributor for Broadband Multiplexer Products.

ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill. -- Charles Industries Ltd., a privately held, diversified manufacturing and high-technology company today announces a new distribution agreement with Phillips Communications & Equipment Company, Inc., to sell and support the Charles Broadband Multiplexer product line. Phillips Communications & Equipment Company is headquartered in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Charles Industries Broadband Access Solutions utilize a combination of Broadband Multiplexers, mini-DSLAMs, and Channel Banks to deliver integrated solutions for service providers and systems integrators alike. The Charles Broadband Multiplexer product line includes the Exchange Mux(TM) I, Exchange Mux(TM) II, Mini Mux(TM) 210 & 280, Mini Mux(TM) 155, and the Mini Mux(TM) 840. "We are pleased with the addition of Phillips as a channel partner," said Mark Rahmel, head of distribution sales for Charles Industries. "With Phillips as a partner, we expect to further penetrate the US broadband access market," he added.
