Charity to hold birthday swim.

A CHARITY will be holding a sponsored relay wheelchair swim to celebrate its 10th birthday year.

For seven years, the charity Parents of Partially Sighted and Blind Youngsters (Popsy) has held a sponsored swimming event and for the eighth year, they are introducing a wheelchair into the event.

Organisers say they have tested a chair for buoyancy and those taking part need to be competent and confident in the water.

The event is at Caerphilly Leisure Centre on Sunday, March 17, between noon and 2pm.
