Charity for blind seeks helpers; VOLUNTEERING.

The British Wireless for the Blind Fund (BWBF) is looking for volunteers in the Highlands to help the blind community.

The volunteers are to visit blind people in their home and support them to use their new radio.

This radio allows blind people to listen to radio shows, podcasts and talking books and newspapers, all at the touch of a button.

BWBF is the only charity across the UK offering this service to the blind and partially sighted.

BWBF Regional Development Manager Sophie Weldon said: "This is a rewarding and flexible voluntary role, you can do it a time to suit you."
