Charity faith event at Cathedral.

A LIVERPOOL charity organisation is holding an event to celebrate the importance of faith and its impact on the city.

Liverpool Charity and Voluntary Services (LCVS) is working with Liverpool Faith Network to organise Liverpool Celebrates Faith.

The event is at Liverpool

Cathedral on Thursday, July 2, and is free to attend.

Bringing Communities Together (1pm-4pm) will showcase the work of the city's faith groups through exhibitions and activities.

Celebrating Faith will include presentations from leaders of faith from 6pm until 7.30pm..

Archbishop Patrick Kelly said: "Through serving as the chair of Nugent Care and working with many other charities, I have been privileged to become ever more aware of LCVS and its good work.

"I am delighted to be involved with such an inclusive and unique event."
