Charity cycle challenge.

FOUR council workers have cycled the length of Wales for charity.

The Caerphilly County Borough Council staff tackled the 169-mile journey last weekend.

They left Caernarfon Castle on Saturday morning and passed through Snowdonia for an overnight stay in Rhayader before arrived at Cardiff Castle on Sunday afternoon.

Hugh Daniels, Paul Taylor, Chris Garrett and Stuart Wadlow were raising money for the mayor's charity appeals: Ty Hafan and Golden Grove, a charity which aims to purchase and restore a building for use as the first convalescent home for injured servicemen and women.
