Chapter spotlight aloha chapter, and the "cost" of doing business in Hawaii.

During the October 2011 monthly luncheon, Aloha Chapter featured a panel discussion on financial management operations in deployed environments. Leading a lively and informative discussion were (from left) moderator Lieutenant Colonel Steven Minkin, USAF ( PACAF); Aloha Chapter President Commander Fred Dini, SC, USN (PACFLT); Roselyn "Roz" Amamalin (PACAF); Colonel Brian O'Connell, USAF (PACAF); Master Gunnery Sergeant Ivan Harris, USMC (MARFORPAC); and Lieutenant Colonel Loren Darmofal, USA (USARPAC). Not pictured is Lieutenant Commander Jose Vargas, USCG, (Coast Guard Base Support Unit Honolulu), who participated via Skype from his temporary duty position as Finance Section Chief for the Operation Deepwater Horizon Gulf Coast Incident Management Team.
