Chantillie House cup winners.

Nineteen Lockerbie Academy pupils took part in the Chantillie House Curling Challenge Cup competition at Lockerbie Ice Rink recently.

The pupils were split into five teams to battle it out on the ice. Each team played every other team once. All displayed great sportsmanship.

The winning team consisted of skip Robbie Graham along with Joe Graham, Logan Jarvis and Naomi Scott. Robbie also skipped the winning rink last year.

Hopefully this will be the first of many competitions, this winter, for the curlers who took part during the afternoon.

Organisers would like to thank Chantillie House in Moffat which kindly sponsors this event every year. All players received a snack bag during the presentation.

They would also like to thank Molly Carruthers and Andrew Robson, both sixth year pupils, who helped out with the competition.
