Change pipe diameter in just 15 minutes.

A relatively simple and inexpensive mechanical system changes pipe and calibrator diameters in 15 minutes, as compared with an hour or two for standard pipe systems. This brand-new IntelliChange system was developed by Cincinnati Extrusion of Austria (U.S. office in Erlanger, Ky.). It uses a die with an adjustable gap and changes pipe diameter with a conical, 800-mm-long transition piece connecting the die to the calibrator. Two calibrators of different diameters are mounted on a rotating holder: One is in operation while the other is prepared off-line and then rotated into position. The system also has a special outlet seal on the vacuum tank and a self-adjusting hauloff. The patented system comes in two sizes for pipe diameters from 40 to 90 mm or 90 to 160 mm. Each size comes with a choice of four standard calibrator diameters. Pipe wall thicknesses range from 1.8 to 32.1 mm. Tel: (859) 746-1530 * PTDirect: 776VV
