Chance to see stars of future.

AN event to find the future stars of the stage is being staged in Birmingham.

QU Musical Theatre gives composers and performers a chance to present their new work to the public without the cost of producing an entire musical.

They can stage their work in a relaxed cabaret setting, at Birmingham's Old Joint Stock Theatre on February 15.

QU Producer Ian Page said: "This is not only a real chance to find future stars of the theatre but more importantly to demonstrate there is more to musical theatre in the Midlands than seeing big budget shows rolled out by the West End."

The bill has been filled on the first event and a second one is being planned.
