Chance to get a bit of neighbourly advice.

WOULD you like to set up a local Neighbourhood Watch or have some information on South Wales Neighbourhood Watch Association in Cardiff? South Wales Neighbourhood Watch Association Cardiff will join the local neighbourhood policing teams for a week to highlight the importance of community spirit during National Neighbourhood Watch Week.

Together they have arranged daily events across Cardiff where Neighbourhood Watch co-ordinators will give advice on the benefits of the scheme and how to set one up in your local area. The week will be launched in the St David's Shopping Centre, Cardiff, tomorrow.

An information stall will be manned throughout the day by both Neighbourhood Watch co-ordinators and South Wales Police, and at 1pm will be visited by assistant chief constable Julian Kirby and police and crime commissioner Alun Michael, when the week's activities will be officially launched. Throughout next week there will also be a display with literature in Cardiff Central Library.

Neighbourhood Watch co-ordinators will also be at: | Saturday: 10am at Whitchurch Library and 10am to noon at Lisvane festival with the Llanishen neighbourhood policing team.

| Monday: Wendy House, Rhiwbina 1pm to 4pm. | Tuesday: Christchurch Car Park, Lake Road North 8am to 11am.

| Wednesday: Heath, Jubilee Gardens Community Centre 1pm to 6pm, assisting with Operation Perception with the Whitchurch and Tongwynlais NPT.

| Thursday: Waitrose store, Pontprennau, 11am to 4pm.
