Chance named top dog.

AUSTRALIAN shepherd dog Chance has been named Best in Show at the 115th Crufts.

The champion, whose full name is Caitland Isle Take a Chance, beat six other group winners at the show's final at the NEC last night.

Its owner, Californian Nancy Resetar, said the five-year-old Canadian-bred champion was the first Australian shepherd she had shown.

She said: "It's the best moment in my life. I'm so proud of him."

Chance's handler Larry Fenner said: "I am overwhelmed. The greatest moment of my life was the birth of my daughter, this is second best. I did not expect it.

"The dog is awesome, the greatest I have ever shown in my life. I probably won't have another one like him."
