Champs Kaned.

Clyde stunned champs Cumbernauld to roar into top spot in the women's Premier League.

Goals from Jackie Kane and Linda Brown earned revenge for a League Cup final defeat earlier in the season.

Scotland striker Pauline Hammill replied but Clyde held out for a fine win.

St Johnstone top scored in the Scottish Cup with a 7-2 thrashing of GMFC. Heather Gray led the rout with a sparkling hat-trick.

Also through to the second round are Livingston who saw off Darcy Rovers 4-0.

And Preston hammered Monklands 4-1 with Debbie McWhinney netting a double.
