Chamber announces Best of Auburn business winners.

AUBURN - The Auburn Chamber of Commerce has announced the winners of the 2010 Best of Auburn business contest. The public voted on business in the Auburn area. Voting took place in July and August via an online survey and through ballots placed throughout the community. More than 2,500 votes were received.

Winners were honored at an awards breakfast held at the Pakachoag Church on Oct. 13.

Best Restaurant - Chuck's Steak House; Best Breakfast Location - Coffee Mug; Best Lunch Location - Auburn Town Pizza; Best Dinner Location - Chuck's Steak House; Best Standalone Coffee Location - Dunkin' Donuts, 386 Southbridge St.; Best Cultural Organization - Pakachoag Music School of Greater Worcester.

Best Family Fun Destination - Crystal Caves; Best Bank - Webster Five Cents Savings Bank; Best Credit Union - Millbury Federal Credit Union; Best Car Dealer, New and Best Car Dealer, Used - Herb Chambers of Auburn Inc.; Best Teaching Facility and Best Fitness Facility - Auburn Yoga & Pilates Center; Best Salon/Day Spa - Untamed Salon & Spa; Best Insurance Agency - Winchester Insurance Agency Inc.; Best Gas Station - Kane Shell & Foodmart; Best Nursery/Garden Center/Florist/Floral Arrangement - The Farmer's Daughter; Best Retail Location and Best Shopping Plaza/Mall - Auburn Mall.

Best Travel Agency - AAA Southern New England, Auburn Branch; Best Real Estate Agency - Emerson Realtors; Best Hotel/Motel - Holiday Inn Express; Most Civic-Minded Business Owner - Dan Bortolussi, Herb Chambers of Auburn Inc.; Best Dressed, Retail Category - Capitol Siding Co. Inc.; Best Dressed, Manufacturing Category - American Steel and Aluminum LLC; Best Dressed, Municipal/Civic Organization Category - Auburn Water District; Best Dressed, Service/Professional Office Category - Britton Funeral Homes Inc.
