Cessna receives orders over USD75m for SkyCatcher LSA.


Cessna Aircraft Company, a manufacturer of general aircraft and business unit of Textron Inc (NYSE: TXT), announced on Thursday (9 August) that orders for the company's new SkyCatcher light sport aircraft (LSA) have reached 720, totalling over USD75m.

The company unveiled the SkyCatcher on 22 July 2007.

The company said that the SkyCatcher features a Garmin glass cockpit, the G300, and a Teledyne Continental O-200D 100-horsepower engine designed for light sport aircraft.
