DALLAS -- CentricVoice, Inc. nationwide innovators of VoIP communications, announced its acquisition of the VoIP assets of Charlestown, Massachusetts-based LineSider Communications. The customer base had been primarily managed by LineSider's Denver office.

"This customer acquisition not only augments our M&A strategy, but also offers a unique partnership with LineSider by adding a high-quality, high demand IPVPN solution to our product suite," stated Jeff Rothell, CEO of CentricVoice. "We also look forward to having LineSider as a new member or our partner channel."

Porter Farrell, CentricVoice EVP, added, "We are seeing more and more opportunities to acquire good books of business that mesh perfectly with our network and service offerings. LineSider's VoIP customers were ideally suited for our acquisition model. We have a number of additional acquisition targets and are pursuing them aggressively."

"This sale makes a lot of sense for both parties," said Harley Stowell, CEO of LineSider. "CentricVoice instantly increases their customer base and geographic footprint, adding quality accounts in key vertical markets of finance and insurance. And at LineSider, we can now focus entirely on the sale and marketability of our core technology, WirePower, a network operating system that provides the management tools critical in controlling a converged enterprise networking environment."
