CentrePath Wins Prestigious 2006 Network Storage Conference Award.

WALTHAM, Mass. -- Magellan(TM) DataPath Manager Recognized For Outstanding Achievement And Technology Innovation In Management Software

CentrePath, Inc., a leading provider of intelligent management solutions for data replication networks, today announced its Magellan DataPath Manager software was selected as the winner of the 2006 Network Storage Conference Award. CentrePath's Magellan technology won the highly competitive Management Software category, which had been narrowed down to three finalists including Onaro's SANscreen Replication Assurance and NTP's Software Storage M&A. CentrePath was named the winner at the conference awards ceremony in Las Vegas on May 3rd.

Magellan DataPath Manager, network management software for business continuity and data replication environments, enables IT departments to predict, prevent and resolve network problems in real-time. The software provides customers with a comprehensive view of the data path - the end-to-end network path connecting an application to its storage resources across multiple data centers. Magellan is based on patent-pending fault correlation technology that automates root-cause identification of network events. The net result is that customers realize significant improvements in service, application and network availability while reducing ongoing management costs.

"We are extremely proud that our Magellan technology was recognized by the Network Storage Conference," said Jim Sullivan, CEO of CentrePath. "Magellan helps customers gain significant insight into why and how networks fail. By providing this level of visibility, we help our customers optimize availability and maximize the efficiency of their data replication environments."

"CentrePath's innovative Magellan DataPath Manager software stood out in the very competitive Storage Management Software category," said Tom Coughlin, president, Coughlin Associates and Co-Organizer of the 2006 Network Storage Conference. "The software's ability to quickly pinpoint the cause of network events provides real value to organizations, helping them understand how network disruptions impact application availability."
