Central Florida debut.

Galmont Ballet Centre for Dance Education launched its new performing group, Brevard Ballet Theater, in June with the "Season for the Great Composers" at the King Center for the Performing Arts in Melbourne, Florida. Local dancers shared the stage with professionals from Miami (including Susan Bello, pictured above in Don Quixote) in two premieres by resident choreographer Frank Galvez: Rhapsody, set to George Gershwin music and inspired by water ballet star Esther Williams; and It's What We Feel, with songs by Frank Sinatra. Lucia Montero and Frank Galvez founded the Galmont Ballet school in 2003. www.galmontballet.com.
