Central Election Commission revokes Aida Salyanova's lawmaker mandate.

Central Election Commission has terminated the powers of lawmaker Aida Salyanova ahead of schedule on March 3 during the meeting of the CEC.

The move is followed the sentencing of Salyanova to 5 years in prison for power abuse when her child turns 14.

District level court sentenced Salyanova to 5 years in prison with confiscation of property on October 10, 2017. She must be put in jail when her child turns 14. Salyanova's younger daughter was born on July 18, 2015.

Salyanova being the Minister of Justice illegally extended Alexey Eliseyev's lawyer's license, according to the National Security Committee.

Eliseyev is wanted after the April 2010 events in Kyrgyzstan.

Bishkek City Court upheld the prison sentence on February 7, 2018.
