Central Development Working Party approves 19 schemes in transport, communication, health, higher education, energy sectors.

ISLAMABAD, March 15, 2012 (Frontier Star): The Central Development Working Party (CDWP) in a meeting held here on Wednesday approved 19 schemes in transport, communication, health, higher education and energy sectors. The meeting of CDWP was held under the Chairmanship of Deputy Chairman Planning Commission. The Joint Chief Economist Planning and Development Division gave a brief presentation on the overall economic situation of the country followed by a presentation by Chief Economist, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on the proposed Growth Strategy of their government. According to a press release, out of 68 schemes on the agenda, 32 schemes pertaining to transport, communication, health, energy, higher education and agriculture sectors were considered.
