Central A&M FFA students place 2nd at Section 16 Veterinary Science CDE.

On Wednesday, Feb. 27, members of the Central A&M FFA Chapter attended the Section 16 Veterinary Science CDE at Richland Community College.

Team members included Jacob Daniels, Lanie Jamison, Mallory Schmitt, Maddie Thompson, Jacob Nash, Ella Forlines, Brandon Peteroccelli, and Erin Forlines. As a team, Central A&M FFA received 2nd place overall. Lanie Jamison was 7th place individual overall, Erin Forlines was 8th place individual overall, and Jacob Nash was 9th place individual overall.

The purpose of the Veterinary Science CDE is to demonstrate professional ethics, decision-making, communication and problem-solving skills, as well as demonstrate technical competency with small and large animals in the areas of: anatomy and physiology, clinical procedures identification, health and safety, and medical terminology.
