Centerless grinding.

The Model 47 centerless belt grinding system is designed for production grinding or polishing of a cylindrical workpiece up to 2.75" OD. It is ideal for contract parts manufacturers that are producing engine shaft components or other parts made from bar stock, pipe, or tube. Robotic finishing cells use 6-axis robots combined with equipment with abrasive belts or wheels, wire brushes or buff wheels, or both to perform programmed, highly efficient grinding, polishing, buffing, satin finishing and deburring operations.
