Cenelec can help your firm comply on safety laws; ADVERTISEMENT FEATURE.
Representing the North East, the company provides specialist niche services throughout the UK, Europe, Middle East, Americas and Africa, providing support to prestige clients such as: Centrica, BP, Total Oil, Diageo, National Grid, Petroplus and ConocoPhillips.
The company is registered with quality assessment companies such as FPAL, Achillies and Impress Humber to ensure through tender process we have the core competence and quality accreditations to satisfy major inspection project work in the oil, gas, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, agrochemical, utilities and distillery sectors.
The standard service typically covers utilising Cenelec Standards' bespoke software application installed on ATEX certified PDA (personal digital assistant) devices.
Our field personnel capture extensive Inspection data and maintenance requirements in line with 'Close', 'Visual' and 'Detailed' grades of Inspection supported by the client's hazardous area classification drawings covering gas, vapour or combustible dust areas.
Our Compex 'Ex' trained inspectors and maintenance electricians inspect each item of equipment within defined hazardous areas and identify with our own bespoke or unique inspection tag.
To ensure the inspection process is efficient, all captured data is downloaded from the PDA and sent to Cenelec Standards' head office IT server for quality checks via VPN (virtual private network).
Our online web portal then hosts the results to enable the client to view inspection data, maintenance requirements, certificates of conformity, status charts and statistics the day following field Inspection and throughout the project to completion.
The emphasis on quality and efficiency is paramount; our systems are accredited by UKAS QA ISO9001-2008 Quality Systems as well as BS EN OHSAS 18001:2007 - Occupational Health and Safety, BS EN ISO 14001:2004 - Environmental Management and ISO/TS 29001:2010 - for product and service supply organizations for the petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries.
Our company has also been audited by principal HSE (Health and Safety Executive) personnel.
If your plant uses, produces or stores potentially explosive products, then we can assist with your electrical and instrument inspection and maintenance programmes to ensure compliance.
We would welcome the opportunity to visit your premises and give a company presentation, without obligation, to highlight the services we offer and create awareness of the legal mandatory requirements to classify, inspect and maintain your plant.
