Celts face Chris auction.

Celtic will have to fight with Napoli, PSG and Marseille if they want to sign Bordeaux striker Christophe Dugarry.

The French club will put Dugarry up for sale at pounds 2.3 million after next month's UEFA Cup Final against Bayern Munich.

A French insider said: "Celtic will have an even chance. Christophe will sign with whoever makes him feel most wanted.

Brian O'Neil will follow a personal fitness schedule to guarantee a top return after a ligament injury. Boss Tommy Burns said it will help him back to full fitness.

Meanwhile, Celtic will this week announce a date for a pre-season match at Parkhead against Arsenal.

Former Ibrox prospect Stuart Beattie will be honoured by Rangers in a testimonial match at Ardeer Thistle today. Ally McCoist and Ian Durrant will play. Kick off is a 2pm.
