S4C's Ffermio series investigates the Celtic connections between Brittany, Ireland and Scotland in the short series Ffermio Celtaidd (Celtic Farming) On Monday (Aug 9, 8.25pm) presenter Alun Elidyr travels to Brittany where he meets a baker, a pig farmer and a sheep farming family, all of whom have Welsh connections.

Geraint Jones, originally from Welshpool, now runs a Breton bakery He comes across Geraint Jones, originally from Welshpool, who with partner Galle runs a bakery that sells a range of organic French bread.

Alun also meets Sarah Hignett, originally from Talgarreg near Llandysul, who moved to France with her farming parents because they were fed up red tape back home in Britain.
