A 30th anniversary gala dinner staged by Wales law firm Berry Smith raised PS2,530 for St David's Hospice Care.
The glittering celebratory event staged at Cardiff 's Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama revolved around legal and musical themes with significant contributions from Clive Coleman, the BBC's legal correspondent, the Drum Waiters, a highly innovative percussion group, and students from the college who provided a jazz background during the evening.
Alison Hoy, Berry Smith's chief executive, welcomed the guests by referencing events of 30 years ago but also took the opportunity to look to the future.
Berry Smith has represented nearly 20,000 clients and handled billions of pounds' worth of transactions on their behalf in that time, both nationally and internationally.
Alison finished her welcome by looking forward to a prosperous future, continuing to provide that extraordinary service that Berry Smith's clients have come to expect and being their trusted advisers of choice in the interesting and exciting times ahead.
Franca Nigro, of St David's Hospice Care who attended the anniversary event, said: "We're thrilled that Berry Smith chose to raise funds for St David's Hospice Care at the gala dinner celebrating such a significant milestone in their history."
