Celebration of achievements.
Nithsdale youngsters have been honoured for their hard work and dedication in the region's Young People 2018 Programme.
The Celebration of Achievements Awards was staged at North West Community Campus.
And the list of projects being recognised by the council were - the Youth Enquiry Service, Happy Feet, Dumfries Open Duke of Edinburgh's Award Centre, Champions Board/ Listen2Us, Scottish Youth Parliament and summer camps.
Through these activities, the young people achieved Dynamic Youth Awards, Saltire Awards, Duke of Edinburgh's Award, SQA Personal Achievement Gold Award, Participatory Democracy Certificate, John Muir Awards, and the NHS Seen and Heard Award.
The council's Young People's Champion, Councillor Adam Wilson said: "Our council developed and implemented an ambitious and bold Year of Young People 2018 plan.
"I am delighted to see that eight months in it has already been a huge success and this celebration of achievement event proves that.
"We have been able to thank so many young people for the hours of volunteering they have committed and much of this activity is a direct result our Year of Young People plan.
"The difference our young people have made to our local communities, and our region as a whole, is immense and it was only right that we congratulate our young people for all their efforts and hard work.
"Once again I would like to congratulate all of the young people on their achievements."
The council's young persons service has just restarted after the summer break.
