Celebrating the Mighty Wurlitzer.

Don Phipps, above, donor and curator of the Mighty Wurlitzer Theatre Organ, is marking his 80th birthday this fall and to celebrate he has invited acclaimed organist Mark Herman to Worcester to perform at The Hanover Theatre for the Performing Arts. Herman will perform at 3 p.m. Sunday along with award-winning cabaret singer Jan Peters. There will also be a 20-minute silent film short, Laurel & Hardy's "Big Business." Proceeds will go toward preserving and maintaining the organ. Admission is $10, free for members. The Hanover Theatre is at 2 Southbridge St., Worcester. (877) 571-7469 or www.thehanovertheatre.org.
