Celebrate the bioregional. (Solutions).

The Web Incorporated [PO Box 479, Morningside Qld 4170, Brisbane, Australia, webline@powerup.com.au] has devoted 15 years of work to building a "peer-to-peer biospheric network of bioregional people, places and organizations." These networks begin at the level of local forests and creeks, and progress through river basins and bioprovinces to drainage divisions, bioregions, biomes and ocean basins. Recently The Web Inc. joined with the Planet Drum Foundation to organize the first Pacific Ocean Basin-wide bioregional gathering. Planet Drum's expertise covers the North and East Pacific while The Web has developed networks in the South Pacific and Indian Ocean basins.
