Celanese implements higher Acetic Acid price in China.

M2 EQUITYBITES-February 21, 2017-Celanese implements higher Acetic Acid price in China


Technology company Celanese Corporation (NYSE:CE) reported on Monday a rise in its list and off-list selling prices for Acetic Acid in China in view of recent market conditions.

Effective immediately, or as contracts otherwise allow, the price of Acetic Acid will increase in China by CNY300/MT, according to the company.

Celanese said it uses the full breadth of its global chemistry, technology and business expertise to create value for its customers and operates through its two complementary business cores, Acetyl Chain and Materials Solutions.

Based in Dallas, the company is engaged in the production of differentiated chemistry solutions and specialty materials used in most major industries and consumer applications.
