Cebu Pacific Air should expect short-term losses in its long-haul market.

New York (USAsian Network Business & Industry News) Mon, Jan 27, 2014 - Cebu Pacific Air should expect short-term losses in its long-haul market because of the stiff competition there, according to a report in the Philippine Daily Inquirer. The report quotes research from aviation consultancy CAPA-Centre for Aviation saying that it noted that the carrier had had a challenging start for its first long-haul service, Manila-Dubai. It quoted CAPA as saying that it expected Cebu to face a similar challenge for other long-haul routes including Australia and other new Middle East destinations.
