Causeway Capital Management plans NextShares Exchange-Traded Managed Funds.

BANKING AND CREDIT NEWS-December 16, 2016-Causeway Capital Management plans NextShares Exchange-Traded Managed Funds

Causeway Capital Management LLC has entered into a preliminary agreement with Eaton Vance Corp. subsidiary NextShares Solutions LLC to support the launch by Causeway of a family of NextShares(TM) exchange-traded managed funds, the company said.

NextShares, an innovative way to invest in actively managed strategies, offer the potential for benchmark-beating returns by applying their manager's proprietary investment research in an exchange-traded vehicle. As exchange-traded managed funds, NextShares may offer cost and tax efficiencies relative to traditional mutual funds that can enhance shareholder returns. Along with Causeway, NextShares Solutions expects NextShares to be offered by a range of well-known asset managers and across fund asset classes. The first NextShares funds offered by other managers began trading on the Nasdaq Stock Market LLC earlier this year.

Causeway Capital Management LLC provides equity investment management services to institutional clients including corporations, pension plans, public retirement plans, superannuation funds, sovereign wealth funds, Taft-Hartley pension plans, endowments and foundations, mutual funds and other collective investment vehicles, charities, private trusts and funds, wrap fee programs, and other institutions. The 100% employee-owned firm, based in Los Angeles, began operations in June 2001 and manages approximately USD42 billion in international, global and emerging markets equities. Causeway employs a blend of fundamental and quantitative investment strategies, and offers its clients access to the firm's proprietary risk analytics.

NextShares Solutions is a wholly owned subsidiary of Eaton Vance, formed to develop and commercialize NextShares. Aspects of the operation of NextShares are protected intellectual property owned by NextShares Solutions. For more information, visit
