Cathay Pacific launches new code-share with LAN Peru.

Cathay Pacific, a Hog Kong based carrier, today announced that it has formed a new code-share agreement with LAN Peru.

The code-share will add Lima, Peru, to the Hong Kong airline's network and enhance its coverage in Latin America.

Effective from the first departure from Peru on 13 December 2010, subject to approval by the government.

Tickets for the code-share service are available to purchase immediately.

The code-share will see the CX code go on LAN Peru's services between Lima and two of Cathay Pacific's US destinations, in return LAN Peru's LA code will be placed on Cathay Pacific services between Hong Kong and the two US gateways.
