Cat's tail found in city street.

A CAT'S tail has been found on a Cardiff street.

Members of the public are being urged by the RSPCA to look out for a ginger tabby cat with a missing tail who may be injured after the tail was recovered from the Railway Street area in Splott.

RSPCA Cymru suspects the cat may have been involved in a road traffic accident, but is urging the community to keep an eye out for the animal and for anyone with any information to make contact.

Selina Chan, RSPCA inspector, said: "It isn't uncommon for body parts of animals to be found in this way, and it's possible the cat may have been involved in a road traffic collision, or attacked by another animal."

Anyone with information is asked to contact the charity's appeal line on 0300 123 8018.
