DUBAI: The cast and crew behind "Adam," the first feature film by Moroccan director Maryam Touzani, appeared for a photo call before the film was screened at the 72nd Cannes Film Festival o Sunday.

The film tells the story of two women united by their loneliness and their desire to flee their situations and is in the running for the prestigious Camera d'or prize, presented by the Un Certain Regard jury.
