Cashpoint pays double.

BANKERS in a Midland village had an unexpected bonus when a cash machine started paying out DOUBLE the money they asked for.

A fault at the cash point in Keyworth, Nottinghamshire, meant customers received free money.

As word spread, queues of more than 70 people waited in line into the early hours of the morning to get in on the act.

Some customers even visited the machine twice either side of midnight on Wednesday.

A 37-year-old man who lives in the village, refused to reveal how much he withdrew but said: "It has made my Christmas."
