Cash jolt for TV Anthea's husband.

THE husband of TV personality Anthea Turner has revealed that one of his companies had gone into voluntary liquidation - costing him pounds 300,000.

Businessman Grant Bovey said he had instructed an insolvency company to place the internet business into liquidation because of a downturn in the market.

Mr Bovey, 40, had been a director and main shareholder of Guildford-based WildMedia Limited.

The company was set up last year to develop an interactive internet game but funding was withdrawn when proceedings to disqualify Bovey from being a director of Manchester-based Northstar Multimedia Ltd were brought by the Department of Trade and Industry in September.

They were dropped by the DTI in March.
