The following new cases were filed in Christian County court:
Trevor Lindsey, 23, of Tower Hill was charged with possession of a controlled substance, alprazolam, on Sept. 30 at Third and Locust streets. The case was filed Oct. 1 and bond was set at $20,000.
He is extended term eligible to serve one to six years in prison if convicted, due to a previous conviction of burglary and arson, a 2012 Shelby County case.
At an Oct. 4, permission was granted by the court allowing Lindsey to be furloughed from jail for substance abuse treatment. Preliminary hearing is set for Dec. 11q.
*Sarah Fleet, 25, no address listed (last recorded address, rural Pana) was charged with possession of meth, less than five grams Oct. 1 in the City of Pana. Oct. 2, she was released on $5,000 recognizance bond.
The case was continued to Oct. 26.
* Shannon Miller-Patnode/Patnode Miller, 42, of Taylorville, formerly of Pana was charged Sept. 27 with felony theft/control, less than $500 value. She is accused of stealing a commercial ashteray, property of Josh Asaad Sept. 18 in the City of Taylorville. Because she has a previous conviction for a forgery offense, a 2017 Christian County case, she is extended-term eligible to be sentenced one to six years in prison if convicted.
An Oct. 18 hearing is set for this case, as well as a pending felony theft case accusing her of stealing general merchandise not exceeding $300, without paying for it at Family Dollar in Taylorville. That case also cites that she is extended-term eligible, as stated above.
