The TV presenter, who also campaigns against internet porn, ignored the four letters from hoax charity PC4.
But numerous celebrities were fooled and Channel 4 received thousands of complaints when the show was aired on Thursday.
Yesterday Vorderman hit out at the programme as she launched the NSPCC's Tighten the Net campaign to make the web safer for kids.
She said: "It's okay to bruise celebrities' ego but the only people this show bruised were those who have been abused and that is sad."
