Carling planning high Five.

SCOTLAND could take part in a Five Nations Championship involving England in 2013 - if Carling get their way.

Craig Levein's men will kick off the Carling Nations Cup next month in Dubl in aga ins t Northern Ireland, with Wales and the Republic of Ireland also taking part.

Now England want Scotland to play them at Wembley in 2013 to commemorate the FA's 150th anniversary.

But that has irked Carling whose spokesman Niall Phelan said: "There has been talk of a home international tournament in 2013 featuring the five teams from Ireland and Britain.

"This platform already exists - it's called the Carling Nations Cup. England were unable to participate this year but the door will always be open for them to take part in the future." them to take part in the future."
