Caribbean airline BWIA flies from Trinidad to Curacao.
Trinidad-based airline BWIA has launched twice-weekly flights to Curacao.
The first flight took place on Sunday (16 January) when a BWIA Boeing 737-800 aircraft flew to Curacao from Trinidad. It returned to Trinidad the following day. The second weekly flight leaves Trinidad for Curacao on Tuesday and returns on Wednesday, the airline said in a statement.
The service to Curacao is designed to be an intermediate stop en route to the Dominican Republic, reported The Associated Press.
