Care taker PM withdraws orders of transfers, postings.

ISLAMABAD -- Caretaker Prime Minister (PM) Mir Hazar Khan Khoso has withdrawn order of postings and transfers of 20 senior officers in various ministries and departments. Caretaker PM has filed his reply with regard to contempt of court notice issued by Supreme Court with reference to transfers of bureaucrats.

The reply said that care taker PM has withdrawn orders issued by him in respect of transfers and appointments. Surely Election Commission had issued orders on April 2, 2013 under which transfers and appointments were made, reply added. Committing the contempt of court was not the motive of prime minister, reply stated.

PM holds the judiciary in high esteem and believes in supremacy of judiciary, reply added. Withdrawing the orders of transfers and appointments is tantamount to accepting the orders of judiciary, reply said. This way he has got implemented court's verdict in Aneesa Tarab case, reply further stated.
