Cards stacked in Borough favour.

NUNEATON 1 WOKING 1 NUNEATON Town signed off a disappointing home campaign with a draw against play-off-chasing Woking.

Relegated Boro played with a confidence belying their league position and took the lead when Jaanai Gordon scored his first goal for the club.

The on-loan West Ham forward opened the scoring on 19 minutes when he spun his defender before unleashing a 25-yard strike that rocketed beyond Jake Cole.

The Cards rallied and would have been the level had Max Crocombe not pulled off a fantastic diving save from a Brian Saah effort.

Crocombe was again the hero at the beginning of the second half. The goalkeeper showed his reflexes to push a Scott Rendell header round the post.

However, he could do nothing when Kevin Betsy headed home a close-range rebound after the striker's initial lobbed effort bounced back off the bar.

Both teams continued to push for a decisive moment, but neither could force a winner.
