Cardiff, once so unique, is now a clone of many other cities; YouSAY IN YOUR OPINION.

* AFTER an absence of a few years I recently spent some time in Cardiff and am saddened and dismayed to see the changes to this once beautiful city.

It is now necessary to walk considerable distances to reach whatever shops are still trading, attempt to negotiate a zigzag route from bus to train, toting heavy luggage, wait in queues whilst blown to bits in wind tunnels created by the erection of new builds. Cardiff, once so unique, is now a clone of many other cities throughout the land and, in consequence, has lost its individuality.

Cerebrally deficient so-called planners, smugly self-satisfied in their well-paid jobs, are totally out of touch with everyday living. They appear to be dedicated to devising malicious ways in which to cause the greatest inconvenience to the electorate who, they conveniently forget, are their employers.

Let us hope they don't have Cardiff Castle in their sights as needing "refurbishment"!
